Same feeling. I'll probably put down the deposit in the next week or two. My big worry is do I accept an adjunct teaching assignment for Spring or not? Our schedule doesn't line up with Ross and the semester doesn't end until the last week of May. If I turn down Spring then I won't get a Summer assignment. Difference of about 20K income if I reject the assignment and end up staying stateside.Im still waiting for the other schools but had a strange urge today that i should accept my spot for May 2026 just in case. IDK someone feel the same??
I have more than enough leave banked so I might be able to work something out.

Does anyone else feel that Ross' attention to students is way more personal than the rest of the schools? Like they really feel like they are there for you all the time, they answer emails quickly, the call you, they are constantly giving out promotions of their program, and are even coming to my hometown to offer a dinner w graduated students and alumni (expenses paid). like what other school does this???
I would say that is not the normal Ross experience. Is that your Ross experience?Does anyone else feel that Ross' attention to students is way more personal than the rest of the schools? Ross administration along with some professors are not very responsive. They are a little more responsive when trying to get you to commit then when you have enrolled.what is your normal ross experience?

Then it must be that, I have not committed fully yet.Ross administration along with some professors are not very responsive. They are a little more responsive when trying to get you to commit then when you have enrolled.
But also, keep your head up, this doesn't define your full experience with the school yet,

Hi! I was accepted to the vet prep program for summer 2026. For those in the same boat as me, are you guys leaving the 1K deposit that is due within 2 weeks of your acceptance? The other schools I interviewed is not coming out with decisions until late February/ March so Idk what to do. Ross is not my first choice as it is so expensive to go there but also I would go if it is my only choice.
i’m still waiting to hear from other schools as well and try to look for stuff related to housing or living on the island while i’m at work but it’s kind of hard when idk what to actually look for i tried asking on the facebook group for pre vet students but no one commented with suggestions or tips so kind of lost honestly!

Well, just got rejected from my IS school 🙁 and only got a acceptance from Ross. Looks like I'm about to be an island gal lol 🙂 Does anyone know what they should be doing as in visa/housing or do we just speak with our advisor's?

So I'm still waiting to hear back from my instate school and Ross is the only other school that accepted me. If I don't get instate, I'm 100% going to Ross but I'm getting more and more anxious the closer that gets. I'm very close with my parents (only child) and doing undergrad 2-3 hours away from home was a big change for me. I'm bringing my cat (2 years old) with me to Ross and want to rescue a dog where ever I go to vet school. But being a plane ride away and not getting to regularly visit home is kinda getting to me. Plus traveling with pets is a whole other level of stress. It's definitely nerves and I know logically I'll be fine but I was hoping others were kinda feeling the same way or had any advice?
hi! i was accepted for fall 26 and i was curious if there’s a group chat or discord for accepted students yet? If not I don’t mind making one so we can connect, find roomates, etc! I haven’t paid my deposit yet but would still love to meet other students thinking of attending!
