I just read that Ross Univ. SVM just ended terminal surgeries...and now PETA is pushing them to end other procedures as well?

Can anyone confirm this? I've seen minimal media coverage of the story and it therefore makes me suspicious. When Oklahoma State just recently ended terminal surgeries it received a ton of coverage...

(and if PETA is involved that usually stirs up a certain amount of controversy to guarantee headlines....good, bad, or otherwise).

Thanks for any info anyone might be able to provide.

Yes, I've seen the stories, too... but there doesn't seem to be much media coverage at all...

I don't understand why the student suing Ross can't graduate now if they've changed their policies (PETA says there are NO terminal surgeries now, even on goats, sheep, donkeys, etc.)... regardless of what sparked the policy change...?

Ahh but OK State is in the US. Much better for media coverage. Less Americans (and yes I mean to blatantly stereotype an entire group, write this day down as I usually am the one who argues against that) would pay attention to what happened in the carribean schools.😳

Yes, anything at a US veterinary school is going to naturally generate more headlines...Ross probably doesn't want much attention either and I am sure they have significant clout in St. Kitts. Ah well.
