Ross Interview?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I have heard that Miami is good because you get to meet one of the people that makes decisions on acceptance but unless you are borderline with your stats, MI should be just fine.

actually, i think the decisions are made down on the island.

But in Miami you get to meet people associated with 5th semester. Get to see the Ross facilities (if you can call it that) in Miami and talk to MERP? and 5th semester students (if they are around).

Unless things have changed Dr. C is on the adcom, right?

he could be, I just remember Dr L in biochem on the island talking about how they went through the admissions process down on the island.

Maybe they switched it up a little since I was down there.

Thats a little troubling since I alreayd confirmed by appointment in michigan. Yeah i'm in a hurry to get through this

ummm for now I think i'll stick with michigan, until I hear something concrete along the lines of 'go to miami, michigan will reduce your chances by 50% or more!'

I'm trying to not be neurotic

I dont think there is any advantage of interviewing in any place when it comes to admissions.

I did my admissions interview with a guy who just happened to be in Texas for some good old fashioned sales talks to college students. met him at his hotel and we spoke for a few hours.
