Hi all--
any help in answering my questions would be greatly appreciated! I applied to Ross about a month ago, and I have yet to hear back, except that they have received my app materials in an email. How long is the wait/any suggestions on what I should do, who I should call, etc? I emailed admissions already but I have yet to hear back...Thanks for any advice!

My other question is about MUA-Nevis. Does anyone have any information/advice on this SABA affiliated school? I did not get into SABA, but they informed me that MUA-Nevis might give me a chance...does that mean I may get into MUA-Nevis? I'm not too familiar on their requirements for admission, etc. I know I have to go through the app process for that school...any info would be greatly appreciated on those who go there/have gone there/etc. Thanks again!

Have a great day everyone-and good luck to all of you! 🙂

I'd say go ahead and apply to MUA-Nevis just in case. But if they offer you admission before you've heard back from Ross, don't make a decision until you know for sure whether Ross is interested in you. Ross is one of 4 schools in the Caribbean whose graduates are allowed to practice in all 50 states. Being more established, it has a better track record of its graduates obtaining residences.

Thanks for your response! Do you (or anyone else who reads this post) know if you have a good chance if SABA recommends you (as per the letter they sent) ? I'm just getting worried...and MUA sounds like a great place....And does anyone know what states MUA-Nevis graduates are approved to practice in?? I can't seem to find a list anywhere...I'm hoping to come back to TN, but I'm not sure if they are approved for this state...if anyone knows where I can find this information I'd really appreciate it! Thanks all!!! 🙂

out of curiousity, which other schools aside from Ross are allowed to practice in all 50 states?

MUA is no longer eligible for loans through Sallie Mae. I do not know if that changes things for you. But it is a big red flag and should not be ignored.

I guess you are asking about Caribbean schools. That's SGU, AUC and SABA. You could also get more detailed info from reading and posting on
www.valuemd.com . Also read the websites of those schools.

Best of Luck

speaking of timelines, does anybody have an example regarding Ross? date of application submission, reply, interview, acceptance, etc?
