I am looking for recommendations of good rotations. I am a second year osteopathic medical student and I will have to soon set up my rotation schedule. If you have done a rotation that has been great in allowing you to do a lot and learn a lot, where most are interested in teaching please share your experience along with the program name. These rotations can be in IM, FM, GS, EM or any other field. Thanx in advance for your help.

I enjoyed IM at St Vincents in Toledo, OH. I have also heard good things about IM at Botsford in Michigan, Westview in Indianapolis, and Texas (I think Fort Worth).

Thanks for the info joaquin. If others have something to add please do so, I need all the info I can get. Thanx.

I spent alot of time at Botsford during my 3rd year, and am looking forward to doing my internship and residency there. I did almost all of my rotations there, aside from psych and FP.

I loved it!!!!

Thanx Yosh, you are the man or woman. Keep the recommendations flowing people, remember, one day I may treat one of you or your loved ones. You will want me to have done really good rotations so that I could pick the right residency, so that I would not screw up and remove the pancreas in place of your appendix 😱 . Thanx.

Are these 3rd year rotations you are required to set up yourself??
