what is the difference between a sub-i, audition rotation, clerkship? Different terms for the same thing?

what is the difference between a sub-i, audition rotation, clerkship? Different terms for the same thing?

I think all med school rotations are "clerkships", a sub-internship is supposed to be a little more intense to prepare you for intern year, and an audition rotation is any clerkship (sub-i or otherwise) at a place you want to match.
