Does anyone's school have a rotation to teach? We have this girl, a P4 from University of Maryland School of Pharmacy working here. She was doing some supervision in the labs and we just got a lecture about Insomnia and OTC drugs from her today. Weird.

Our school does. The P4 works in the lab with the instructors. I like teaching and have a lot of experience, but it is my hatred of lab that will prevent me from choosing that rotation.

I think many schools do..

I did a teaching rotation as a student and I loved it! It is nice being on the other side for a change.

Creighton does and U of Minnesota does. I'm doing one at U of MN (since I live in MN) next year. It's in their Pharmaceutical Care lab - doing MTM, etc.

didn't get a specifically "teaching" rotation -> would've jumped at it had it been available but fortunately my rotations afforded me a lot of presentations/journal club/grand rounds etc., which was a lot of teaching.

what's so weird about it?😕
