How is everyone handling your round 2 (or 3...) on studying? I'm re-taking after voiding, and having a hard time taking off..I guess I little discouraged about the last. Now having to do everything all over again:scared:...Planing on taking in 10 weeks (July 28), I guess like starting all over:laugh:

btw anyone have any reviews on the GS MCAT University for $79.95?

keep up with it man 10 weeks is plenty of time, make sure you do some verbal daily. Not much but 2-3 passages a day will help.

Yeah, seriously.

Honestly, at this point I would take some practice tests if you haven't taken them already. Maybe order a few TBR tests. They're very challenging, but so is the MCAT.

Do a lot of practice. Don't do donuts in a parking lot with content review. You'll get nowhere. The best way to see what you know and don't know and to solidify understanding is to hit up the passages!

I took the MCAT twice last year, once in January (voided that) and once in March (scored POORLY on that). I was so frustrated and burned out that I waited an entire year to try it again. I've forgotten a lot, but I've also retained a lot.

Give yourself the break you need, whether it's a weekend or a week vacation, and then remind yourself of why you are doing this and who you are doing this for. Start with the material you like, pretend you know nothing, and let every detail surprise you, and perhaps you'll find something new. I agree though with ridethecliche - don't do donuts. Practice questions will help you hone in on the areas where you thought you knew what you were doing but really didn't. Find friends who are also MCAT-ing and maybe exchange books with them for a week. Do all the practice problems you can to figure out what you don't know, and then MASTER that. You'll be fine in 10 weeks.

I guess it would be difficult to assess if you would improve by doing a different study plan if we don't know your original score because you voided. As mentioned above, I would take a diagnostic full length test and see where you are. If you score at about where you were at the void, then continue with your old study plan. If not, then you should try a different study plan.

And, yes, do practice verbal every day or so. With practice, melting glaciers and Huxleyan burlesque will seem pretty natural 😱
