Rural Pass Through Legislation

This is a frequent and long-standing issue for the ASA, and is often a key point raised during the ASA Legislative Conference.
The nurse anesthetists will fight tooth and nail against this legislation, all the while whining that anesthesiologists won't come to more rural areas because they aren't paid enough and that they're the only viable option for rural hospitals. 👎
