I am a third year med student that is interested in EM...one of my rotations 4th year has to be in a rural/underserved area. I was wondering if anyone knows of any er programs that i could rotate thru that is considered to be in an r/u area? that way i could get known at another program (as in an elective month) and kill a required month at the same time.
Thanks

I don't know many details but some of the U of Colo. EM faculty(affiliated with Denver Health) have started doing rotations on some of the Arizona reservations and taking med students with them. Try contacting the EM department at U of Colo
