congratulations on being one of the few people that managed to fail that interview ... from what i've heard, there's another round if you fail to give you another chance. This is hearsay though, I don't know anyone who's failed

Don't worry about it. One of my friends who is now a P1 student missed her interview. She overslept. You have to go to second round of interviews in the summer before a panel of 4? deans or academic committee or something like that. They will ask you questions about your academic performance and other crap like that. You may not have failed your interview but if you have not had good grades they could make you go in for the second round. Make sure you research a bit about pharmacy and talk about how much you love this career and its "boundless opportunities." If you're a good talker remember what colaizzi taught us in pharm conv. Tell them your wish is to expand the duties and roles of the pharmacist. Tell them you plan on being an active member of pharmaceutical community. Also have good explanations for your academic performance if that is a problem.

I'm currently in the 6 year Pharm.D program at Rutgers and in the second year, they require all students to undergo an interview to see if they're fit to move on. I heard from everyone the interview was easy and nothing to be worried about. I guess I let myself get too complacent, went in there blind, and managed to not pass the interview. I'm just curious if anyone else had such a problem or know of someone with such a problem? If so, what were the procedures that they had to go through? I've been trying to ask around because all they emailed me was "I'll keep in touch regarding the next step." It's driving me crazy because finals are soon and I'm also worried about this. Thanks...

I was wondering if if you had to take the interview because you took the 2+4 pathway or the 0-6 pathway?????

2+4 and 0+6 are both interviewed. An interview is required for accreditation (I think).
