Is anyone currently attending Rutgers? Or has been accepted?
I have a transfer interview there this coming Friday, but I am not sure how to prepare for a 15 minute interview with the Dean@_@;; I'm not really sure why it's only 15 minutes long..
I heard that Rutgers has a 6 year program instead of the 2 years of undergrad and 4 years of professional pharm program.
What is the school like? How were your experiences there?

Thanks🙂

I go to rutgers right now but not in pharmacy program but i know alot of friends in it. From what they tell me its ultra competative this year. And the interviews are actually conducted by the students instead of faculty.
I think for a transfer interview the main thing u need to focus on is why did u decide to change careers, why pharmacy, and why rutgers. Just out of curiosity what were u stats gpa and grades? if u dont mind posting 🙂

I go to RU right now, u must have really good stats to get an interview! anyway, yeah i heard it's super hard and overwhelming, but u get to graduate with a well-established pharmacy school. it is a 6 year thing thats why it's so hard to transfer in, but a good amount of ppl drop out so i guess they a few spots...i started out not liking the school that much, i guess because I grew up in NJ but now that im transferring to a pharm school in boston next semester, I realize that i really Rutgers.. It's a really good school and it is HUGE..u meet a lot of ppl, and what i particularly like about it is, because there are 5 big campuses, there are a lot of amenities to your picking...for example there are soo many kinds of places to study, diff kinds of student centers, cafes and whatnot, and the dining halls in general suck ass , but each dining hall has one or 2 things good about them, (ex: Nielson dining hall on douglass campus has the really good ice cream machines!, college ave dining hall has pretty good hoagie take outs, busch dining hall sometimes has that blender person who makes u a really good drink) but yeah are u gona be a 3rd year student? i would recommend the school even tho i claim to hate it sometimes, u just gotta kno how to get around the RU Screw..lol..good luck!
