RVUCOM-Co or WVSOM?

Hi, I am ORM considering RVUCOM-Co and WVSOM. I want to match into anesthesiology, optho, or whatever else I end up finding interesting back in Cali. I am torn between these two schools since RVU has one rotation site in Cali as well as being closer to Cali than West Virginia. But WVSOM is cheaper(55K ish compared to 67-69K ish) even as OOS and they do have 9 ppl match into anaesthesia last year( I think RVU only had 2 last year).

I rlly need some help deciding between the two in terms of matching into anaesthesia/optho(primary goal) and then back into Cali(secondary goal).

Hey everyone! I’m from California, URM female but staying “close to home” isn’t really a deciding factor for me but being in a diverse and safe environment is. I don’t really care about matching back to CA because I want to move out of the state anyway. Nowhere in particular at the moment but ideally to the DMV, NY/NJ area or maybe even Dallas, Tx. My biggest priority though is choosing the school that will give me the best chance at matching orthopedic surgery and doing well on boards. I genuinely like both schools so I am having trouble deciding.
