Can someone tell me which is more useful? I'm going to start M2 soon. I have heard that Kaplan has some unnecessary info on it, but I've also heard that Rx might be too easy. . Thoughts?

Do both. Use the mobile apps and do questions as soon as you feel moderately comfortable with whatever youre learning.

What are you aiming for? If 230 then just one will suffice. If 250 id say both.

If you have to choose one id say go Rx bc it will drill the highest yield stuff into you, but kaplan really is valuable in that it throws crazy things at you and forces you to think about a Q you have had little previous exposure to. Also kaplan for microbio tests super minutiae unparalleled by either of the other qbanks.

Fwiw i also did uworld throughout 2nd year (after kaplan and rx) despite all of the "dont waste it/save it for dedicated" sentiment. I did it by system throughout pathology. True, dedicated was a little dull for me bc i knew most of the uworld concepts being asked even if i didnt remember the exact Q. Still, at the end of the day, its about learning material. Some will argue that uworld prepares you through building test taking strategy. I would certainly agree with that - i happen to be a pretty good test taker so maybe thats why i did ok in the end anyway. Others argue that you cant answer uworld Qs so early in med school bc youre simply not prepared enough. That statement i personally couldnt agree less with.
All i can say for sure is what worked for me. Others will vehemently disagree with what im saying (and most probably will do so without any personal experience using the method).

There is no such thing as wasting UWorld. The more times you get through UWorld with solid notes that you review, the higher your score goes. I know a lot of the Carribean students I've worked with used Kaplan questions and Videos and seemed to like it. None of the students at my school or any of my friends at other schools messed with Kaplan, so I really can't say yay or nay to the source.
RX was good, and it fit really well with First Aid- RX is good for reinforcing information you are learning in FA, so it was good to go section by section along with the book. It's supposed to aid in the core concepts, which is different than UW (like OME for step 2).
-UW is where you are going to get the best "bang for your buck". Don't get caught up in your % score, it will go up on its own. Just make sure you are learning while doing questions. Read every question explanation including the answer choice explanation. In all of the studies I've seen, the ONLY resource to positively correlate with a higher score is...UWORLD (Surprise).
I didn't really learn how to study until 3rd year and wish someone sat me down earlier and smacked me over the head with this information.

- Lastly- Don't let these Step 1/Level 1 preparation companies scare you. They make money off of your fear of being inadequate compared to other students. Uworld, FA, Pathoma. If you're a visual learner, then add Picmonic or Sketchy.

-Good luck!
