for a starter can someone tell me how to transfer
out a prescription? i know how to PC and Transfer
in the script. but how do u transfer out? like when
another store want to transfer and they call u.
what do u do? lol.

Switchtd to rxconnect for awhiel but if i remember go to the patient's profile and hit T and the rx number and follow the prompts.

You don't transfer out. The other store is supposed to just transfer it into their system. You don't have to do anything.

i think he/she means if its not a CVS. then u hav to manually do it.

If it is a CVS then u dont hav to do anything, (unless ur in NY when u hav to put the rest of the refills on hol)

Hmm, if it's another store, they call you, you just give them the information about the prescription and whatnot, and then you inactivate the prescription (Press V, Enter, RX#).

Wrong, maybe if you didn't twitter at work you would know the T function is the correct approach. Fist it tracks who is transferring and where they transfer. That way when you don't make budget they know who to blame it on....

yea, T is for Transfer. i knew it's use for something.
um so after u hit T, it should say To in the profile?
for that script (methinks). this is oppose to transfer
in from another cvs, where it would say Ti. for transfer in.

as for non-cvs transfer i would leave it to the pharmacist
for now. not that i havent tried it before. .^_^.

If another CVS is trying to pull a script from your store and your store put it "On hold," they won't be able to pull it. You'l have to fax them the hardcopy. Also, I am not sure if everyone is on the new system but if they're on a different system then yours, that CVS won't be able to see it. So you'll have to do a Transfer out. You can also do "TO" from the homescreen as a transfer out and follow the fun prompts. You'll need their DEA/NPI number to get it transferred out correctly. Before, I didn't have to enter that in and it'll let me go but now I have to get all this stuff from the other store..
