I've heard that soon psychologists will be allowed to perscribe medications (selective of course) with an RxP degree?
Anyone know as to what states will be supporting this or do support this?
thanks for the info 😀

Soon? They already can in New Mexico and Louisiana. They are required to be a licensed psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) and also are required to complete a post-master's in psychopharmacology.

They are required to complete a post doctoral MS degree in psychopharmocology, and be supervised either limited term or forever (depending on the state) by an MD.

🙂
