i may be wrong. but, i don't think there's a limit as to how many times you can take the PCAT. though, most schools stress a maximum of 4 attempts. also keep in mind, it's like a $100 bucks a pop. so on that note, my advice would be go to this site: http://astore.amazon.com/collegebooks.com-20/detail/1419553224 buy and study it THOROUGHLY. there's also several practice exams in it to help you prepare. i mean, why should you even be considering taking it more than once right?

and as for your other question...? ooh, i think b[pharm b], already answered that in the other thread. so yeah... PharmCAS, averages the attempts and good luck! to you also...:luck:

Actually, it's like $150 a pop!! And a $25 late fee if you do it too late. I've taken it 3 times (late fee once also!) And I'm pretty sure PharmCAS averages all class GPAs.

$150... even worst. thanks! moni, for clarifying that for me...😉

PharmCAS GPA - takes the average grade (between/among retaken classes) in the gpa calculation. However, both grades are shown on the actual application.

PCAT - If you've taken it more than 3 times (it maybe be 4?), you will have to write a letter to the test administrator for why you should take the test again. However, I highly advise people to take the test when they're ready...shop around for good prep guides, because they're definitely out there (I can recommend a few).

Be careful, as schools handle PCAT scores very differently. School A may take the highest subscores out of more than one test. School B may take the subscores for the test you scored the highest composite in. School C might not even look at the composite at all.
Hint: you really should not need to take the test more than twice. Be well prepared, and if you need to improve upon your first time, go for it.
