Hey everyone! I heard from an admissions director inviting me to an interview. She gave me two potential dates and after emailing her I never got a confirmation back. I also emailed her again following up. Has anyone else heard back?

Also does anyone know if sacred heart offers interviews to a large amount of candidates like Midwestern or do they greatly narrow down interview offers?

I'm just worried I have not heard back but I don't want to feel like I'm nagging the admissions director. Any input is much appreciated!

Hi, I don't really know if Sacred Heart narrows down a lot for the interview, but they were still doing interview stuff in March for another cycle, I think. So maybe that means they have a lot of interviews?

Can I ask when you submitted your application for Sacred Heart? I applied in October, and got the email saying that they received my application. However, I haven't gotten anything after that yet...so I'm a little worried that I didn't make it through to the interview part.

I wouldn't worry about not receiving a response back yet. When I talked to her, she said they received a huge amount of apps this year, and I think they are just busy with going through all of them. I also emailed back about an interview date on 11/12 and have yet to get a response. I would expect an email soon about where the interview will take place and other info, so no worries.
I'm not sure if they narrow down people or anything, but I think it's awesome that we got an interview considering she said they received so many apps this year. So I'm just focusing on that being a big positive. 🙂 Also, I know it's a long interview like 3.5 hours, with an active problem based learning section, so I can't imagine that there would be an enormous amount of people because I think that could get a little chaotic. But I would really like to know more info about how many people will be interviewed as well!
And my OTCAS app was verified on September 20th. I think this round of interviews is for people who made the early decision deadline, which was Oct. 31st. At least that's what I took from her email because she brought up that the early decision deadline just passed and that we'd hear about interview dates soon. So your app would have to be verified and reviewed by them by Oct 31st to be offered a spot in this round of interviews and if not I would guess the next interviews will take place sometime after these. According to past threads in Feb/March. But this is just a guess. Not positive.

Hi! I also received an interview invitation for Sacred Heart, about 2 weeks ago and after emailing admissions back with a date I received a confirmation email right away for the date and then the next day received the directions. If you haven't heart back yet I would call but I wouldn't be too worried about it because as you probably saw they had a lot of interview times and dates available! Congrats 🙂

I was also wondering if anyone knew what to expect for the group interview??

Does anyone know if there are interview dates after January 19th? I got an interview but asked to reschedule to after January 19th because I will be away. Anyone got a date after the 19th?

In the email I received it gave 2 dates, January 15th and January 24th so there should be more dates after the 19th, as long as they aren't filled up. 🙂
I really like this program and what it has to offer, especially the PBL style.
Does anyone know anything about the area? I've never been to CT at all, just wondering what it is like!

Thanks for the info, alg5443! Also, does anyone know for the prerequisites if you need labs for both ana& physio I and II or just one lab for the first class?

I think you need labs for both I and II. On the website it says, "Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II with lab (8 credits*)" So if it's 8 credits, it would be two labs.
