Yet another advantage of working at an indy, he won't be terminated for it. Thankfully he stopped after the threat was neutralized (and didn't go back to grab a different gun afterward).

I thought Ersland shouldn't have gotten life in prison. Maybe a couple of years. He didn't ask to be put in that situation.

I agree. Ersland messed up in the heat of the moment, but I wouldn't call it premeditated. Real premeditated murderers have got less than life imprisonment, that seems like a very harsh penalty for someone who was just trying to protect human life.
 
This guy is a hero. It's too bad our healthcare and prison system have to pay to rehab this scumbag. Waste of money.
