i was wondering if its a good idea to focus on RR 2nd edition by Goljan and his audio ONLY for step1 path and kick out BRS path, kaplan path, FA 07 path, Robbins (most definitely) altogether. is it safe to do so?

i was thinking about going over his 36pg. review abt weeks before exam. or even 100pg if i have time. so basically, Goljan vs all else. (for path, that is)

thnx for the quick reply. i didnt mention the questions part. i do have the robbins review q book and will make good use of it. other questions im planning to use are:

qbank, usmlerx(book), Qbook

i forgot to add 2 more sources that i also have to the previous list. FA cases -200+, UCV-300 path-phy cases. should i chuck em' too?

I think i have too many sources so trying to stick to few and learn more. all/any advice appreciated. thnx.

Even Goljan recommends using the Robbins question book. 🙂

Whether or not you use other sources is up to you, but the students at OSU where Goljan teaches don't use anything other than his materials and Robbins question book.

I am so lucky. We have the author of the Robbins Path question book for our Path professor.

I'm a huge fan of Goljan, but I wouldn't reply exclusively on his stuff. BRS path is fantastic for quick review, whereas Goljan is great for conceptualizing the material. So I think the Goljan and BRS are complimentary. Start with Goljan to understand the material, then use BRS to refresh when step1 draws near.

yea im doing what DHMO said, using goljan first and then using brs as quick review, it can't hurt to do brs path along with it, since brs path does not take long to cover, and in case something is missing from goljan, you might find it in brs path and vice versa.
