"Safety schools" which ones to add?

I am really concerned that the schools I applied to are too competitive and I am looking to add more safety schools, the problem is I don't have that much money to spend and can only add 1 (maybe two) additional schools.
NYC resident here,
The schools I have applied to so far: NYU, SBU, UB, Columbia, UMDNJ, UConn, Harvard, and Maryland for a total of 8 schools.

Some that were on my mind: BU, Tufts, UNE, Nova, UPenn (obviously not a safety lol...)Temple, UPitt?

What do you guys think? Also how do some people apply to 20 schools lol? wish I wasn't a broke college student 🙄

What are your stats and what type of ECs/Shadowing do you have?

What are your stats and what type of ECs/Shadowing do you have?

3.7 o&s gpa. 150 hours of shadow, 800 hours of research(presentation win, publication, ACS etc.) Chemistry club treasurer 😳, Teaching assistant for bchem and ochem, some charity stuff.

Any advise or direction would be great. Thanks!
