Just wondering if anybody applied to Sage Colleges DPT program in Albany, NY. I applied a few months ago and should be hearing back soon. If anyone has heard back yet or is familiar with the program please give some insight. thanks

I applied there as well. I currently go to St Rose, which is another school in the Albany area. We have an articulation agreement with them, so I was accepted in August. But I've taken a tour of the school/program and know a student in their third year there who likes it. The only thing I really don't like is that it's a tiny school/campus, which I've already experienced for undergrad. If you have any questions, I can try and help you out based on what I know!

awesome thats good to hear...so will you be definitely be attending or are you just using it as a backup based on what other programs you get into? I dont really know too much about the program so i guess i have to just wait and see until i hear back from them. By any chance do you know how many students are in the incoming class and how many of those are part of the guaranteed agreement?

I'm from MA and i'd prefer to attend a school back home, so I'm just using it as a backup. But from what I understand it's a pretty small program. I was able to sit in on a few labs which was pretty cool. I don't know any statistics about the agreement, but I do know that there are about 10 schools who have the agreement with them listed on the website and they don't typically turn away anyone who meets the requirements (min 3.0 gpa, prerequisites, obs hours, etc). But the staff was all very friendly, especially in the office, so I'm sure if you have any questions like that they'd be more than happy to answer! Just this past semester I took undergrad exercise physiology there as a prerequisite for all the other schools I'm applying to and I found everyone to be extremely welcoming even though it wasn't my actual school. So overall, it's a great little school! I would suggest visiting if you can 🙂

awesome thanks for the insight, i appreciate it. just playing the waiting game now so well see what happens. Good luck!

I have been accepted to Sage College DPT but I can't find any information from students about this program. Is there anyone who can tell me anything specific about it or helpful in making a decision about choosing Sage over other schools? It is most appealling to me because it is out of state.

Thank you 🙂
