You are post-interview? Congrats on getting that far. I am a local, former student (graduated elsewhere) and spouse of a SLU law school alum. We would really like to stay here, but I cannot even get an interview invite. I was complete around 11/15. Probably no hope for me, but there may be for you. I cannot make sense of SLU's system, but it seems the adcom wheels turn slowly there and I would think SLU offers acceptances to at least 2x the number of seats. SLU is not a 1st choice school for most and out of towners are not able to see, in a one-day visit, all that SLU has to offer, much less the city and the metro area. Anyway, good luck & post if you hear something.

There was a thread about this a couple weeks ago. I'm on the SLU alternate list as well, and so is everybody else who wasn't accepted. They just put everyone on that list until they finish filling the class, and I don't think anybody has been pulled off of it yet.

Is the alternate list the same as the waitlist? I am on the waitlist at SLU and have recently been notified that I am on the alternate list at MU. Anyway, from what I know or think I know SLU offers 300 acceptances and then their is the waitlist. They expect more than half of the 300 to not accept and that leaves SLU picking from the waitlist to fill their spots. Unfortunately, they don't or won't give out your position on this list so you don't know if you have any shot. I would expect that the top 20 on the wait list will be accepted.
