It’s gonna vary by program. I’d say $150-200k is a good bet. You can look up salaries for the VA programs on federalpay.org. Those are $200k and up normally.

I teach at one day a week at an AEGD and get $550/day. Full time at this program is $150k.

What kind of benefits are offered? 401k matching? 403b? 457? Health insurance?

Completely varies by program. The one I’m at is at a dental school so there’s like 6-8 weeks of paid time off, 401k, health insurance, etc. Compensates for the low pay.

You can Google these things at places that have openings but they tend to post only a maximum or a range. As an example, the range for a full-time clinical faculty person at NYU is probably 110k-185k base but the range is higher for Brooklyn than it is for Manhattan. Some hospital attending jobs pay something that is a net 70$/hr pre-tax, up to maybe 116$/hr pre-tax amounting to a salary between 140k-241k/year. As far as I can tell, I think most places are looking for part time, prosthetics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry.
