Starting non partner salary is HIGHLY dependant on:
1.) Who you are and where you trained
2.) Where you are willing to live
3.) What fellowships you have done
4.) Private or Academic
An average salary number is worthless when you have some poor SOBs hitting 90K a year and others pulling down over a million.
