Hey guys!
I interviewed at SALUS back in October and it was pretty laid back! You spend the first hour-ish listening to a presentation about the school and program. Be sure to take notes during this time since it'll help you answer questions like "why SALUS?" and "Why optometry?" during the interview right after. The interview was approximately 25 minutes long and very casual. Just be yourself and answer the questions as best you can. Be sure to have a set of questions to ask the interviewer at the end of the interview.
After the interview we got on a bus and went to tour the clinic. The clinic is absolutely amazing! Then, we came back and had lunch in the cafeteria. Lastly, we toured the main campus. Overall, this is a really laid back interview and you definitely shouldn't be worried at all!
Oh and I heard back just one week after the interview! I got in, but ill be going to Midwestern (IL) since it's closer to home!
good luck!
