Hey guys!
I just have a quick question. I'm tryng to re-apply and submit the application 2008 and I knid of have difficulty choosing schools. I got waitlisted from some schools and I was wondering if I should reapply to those schools now. Do you guys think it will hurt my chance to getting of the waitlist? I need your guys advice. thanks.

I think that reapplying to those schools will be a good idea. It shows persistence and that you really want to get in there.

Just make sure you have something positive to add to your resubmitted application that you did in the intervening year (research, more shadowing, etc.). You may even want to ask those schools why they felt you were only waitlist material. If not, you take the same chance that you will end up on a waitlist again.

As long as you have more info, retook the DAT if necessary, and have at least modified your old personal statement then you should be OK. I would also recommend adding some schools to the list so you can get some fresh adcom eyes on the app.

Thanks for advice guys. I'm still on the waitlist and I don't know if they would consider me as a waitlistee if I re-apply 2008 to their school. Do you think it will affect my status? Thank you guys.
