Can those who had interviewed with samford please let me know the exact time it took you. Also, Do the interviewers have a list of questions they ask everybody or they made up their own questions. How was the essay experience. Please help...

Have you checked the interview feedback section of this site? I interviewed last year and really don't remember the particulars, but I did post feedback while it was still fresh in my mind. From what I do recall, everything was pretty laid back and my interviewers either didn't have a certain set of questions -or- had asked them so much they'd memorized them 🙂 The essay part was the worst for me but that wasn't unique to Samford - I hated it everywhere I went...

Try to relax and just be yourself - I'm sure you'll do fine.

Julianne...did you get accepted to samford? I know you got into Auburn right? you got interviewed by two persons right? Did they cross questions or with each other? If you don't mind, could you post to let me know your stat. I'm trying to evaluate what my chances are..oh how soon after the interview do you know your results..Thanks again

Hey -

I was not accepted at Samford last year, only waitlisted (I started out at #17 and moved to #13 but that was it)... I will be attending HSOP this year. I had two separate interviews that day: one was done by a faculty member (with a current student in the room who asked a couple of things but was mostly there for me to ask questions of her if I had any) and the other by a professor, but they asked very different questions of me. My stats at the time: 3.95 GPA, 75 PCAT, 6 years as a certified tech, completed all classes at a local CC, not many ECs outside of my family (I'm married and have children).
