I went to the dentist I shadowed and asked if he would be willing to write a LOR, and he replied that I should write it out and he will sign it. I have never written a LOR and I'm not sure what format is best. I don't want to sound too gushing, nor do I want to write something more than he would possibly agree with (not that I have anything to reproach myself about in terms of my standing with this dentist), but I want to make myself sound good.

anyone have any resources I could look over to get an idea of a good sounding LOR? thanky kindly!
