SA just sent me computer info. Looks like it will run about 4000 for everything. Will this come out of living expeses which I thought would be about 6000 per semester? If so, how do people make it after paying for the initial bs?

the initial bs should be considered separate from living expenses, or else you will have to try to make it on 2 grand which is impossible, even in SA - this means get a good summer job or get a separate loan (private or parents) to pay for the computer stuff, sorry!
