The application period is drawing to a close. Your application must be complete no later than January 15, 2004. You have one final week to be sure that everything is submitted. If you have any doubt that your application is complete, please call the Allied Health Registrar at 210-567-2660 to check and be SURE that all of the required documents are in your file. Your application must contain the following to be considered complete:
The application form (online or hand written)
Your application fee ($35.00)
If you applied online, you must submit the signature page
Official transcripts from EACH school you have attended
Your personal statement (hand written, no more than two pages, signed at the bottom)
Your detailed work history
Your signed reference form
In addition, some of you may need to submit the following:
Foreign transcript evaluation by an approved evaluation service
Waiver requests for special circumstances if needed
Letter from your registrar/school counselor if you will graduate in May 2005 and wish to be exempt from the core curriculum
TOEFL score if required
DD 214 if required
ONLY complete applications will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Information submitted must be RECEIVED no later than 5 PM on January 15. Application reviews will begin in February. Approximately 60 applicants will be chosen to participate in personal interviews in March. Tentatively, the interview dates are March 13, 20 and 27. A class of 24 students will be chosen from those interviewed.
Once the application deadline has occurred (next week) we are unable to relate any information about your application status until the process is complete - around the first of April. I know this is a frustrating time for you...the wait is often difficult. Please do not call, since we are unable to give you any further information. Each and every applicant will be notified of their status by mail within the first two weeks of April.

[email protected] after May 1, 2004. Applicant orientations will resume in May of this year. Remember - if you are applying for admission in 2005 - we will be using the Central Application Service for PAs (CASPA)! CASPA starts accepting applications in May or June. You can check out CASPA at:
