Hey all. I've searched the forums for information but haven't found exactly what I am looking for. Could anyone answer a few questions about the Santa Rosa family medicine residency for me?

1. I know Californian residency programs are competitive, but how do non-Californian, American D.O. students tend to fare when applying to Santa Rosa?

2. Is a high COMLEX Step 1 score sufficient to make up for not taking USMLE?

3. If you read this far, thanks for being awesome

Judging from the current resident bio's at Santa rosa FM you have a great chance of being admitted if:
1. Your female
2. Your passion is making sure poor minorities get the best care
3. You fluent in Spanish
4. You went to a top quartile MD school

If you meet the above 4 you'll be in good shape.
