How do I get Scabies?

Scabies can be passed from one person to another by direct skin contact. The mite does not live very long without human contact, so clothing and bedding do not spread scabies.


is it true clothing and bedding do not spread??? then why for management of scabies need to wash clothes in hot water????

and some articles said direct contact does NOT spread the mites... which one is true??
