Why do some schools ask for SAT/ACT scores? It seems like test scores from that long ago should not make a difference on dental school admission. My scores are fine so I am not worried about it, just curious.

I wasnt even aware that schools ask for that. I havent come across one yet and I fondly remember a member of an admissions committee for a midwest dental school anwering a kids question, whether high school grades or act/sat scores matter, and he laughed and said they could care less what you did in high school.
