My application was held up by AADSAS for about 8 weeks and just mailed out about 2 weeks ago. I know that it's getting pretty late in the fall semester, but I've been contacted this week by both Colorado and Indiana to setup interviews before Christmas break. IU's is set for Friday November 14. UC's is set for Saturday November 15. Are Saturday interviews a normal thing, or should I take it as a good sign?

Good Luck everybody with your interviews!

Saturday interviews are normal at Arizona. We typically have 10-12 people coming through each Saturday.

I don't know of MANY other schools that do that, but it looks as though Colorado does!

Congrats.

I interviewed at UNC and Ohio State on Saturdays. It's kinda nice because the professors and students aren't distracted by other things so they don't let you rot in some waiting room waiting for an interview. The downside is you don't get to see everything in action (which is fine by me).

All of OSU's (ohio state's) interview days are Saturdays. Good for the above mentioned reasons, bad because some interviewers are so upset about missing the buckeye football game that it's the only topic of the interview (personal experiance - i had to re-direct the questions during my interview... possibly rude, in retrospect)

Also, my AADSAS application wasn't completed until early october, and I still got into my top 2 schools (and then stopped interviewing - it's more efficient that way, since you're interviewing closer to the Dec. 1 acceptance date =)

Best of Luck!
