I am currently working in a dental office where a couple of the assistants keep insisting that I save extracted teeth to take to dental school with me. Now after some time of hearing this I finally decided to find out if I really should have been saving teeth. The school I am attending said no. I was just wondering if anyone IS currently having to do this, or is it just some ancient practice before the time of typodonts?

YES!!!! Save them in 1:10 clorox and water. You can never have too many extracted teeth for dental school.
