Hi guys, maybe those of you who already took the DAT could help. With topscore, it seems like if you get 4 wrong, you're down to 21...and then even if you get one wrong that's a 28. So it's like if you get one wrong, it's -2. How is it scored on the real DAT? Is each question weigh differently?

From my experience, topscore is the same compared to the real dat. It converts the number of right answers to a scaled score, so my 22 in BIO correlated to 37/40 on the real thing, as it would have in ts.

good luck

Don't worry too much about how many you must get right to get above a 20. Just do your best. Honestly, I just tried to do every question as fast as I can. I didn't care if I got a 19 or a 20, I just made sure I had enough time to finish the others. For those I was uncertain about, I'll mark it and come back later. By doing this strategy, I had 30 mins left over to review the hard questions and performed very well on the total science. This strategy I learned while doing topscore.

Good luck,
Rich
