scaled GPA?

Hey this is my first time on this site. I have recently become very interested in pursuing a career in medicine, especially getting a DO degree. I know that for the med school application, everyones GPA is scaled, ie. different schools have GPA's that are weighted differently. I was wondering if this was the case when applying to osteopathic medical schools. Does anyone know about this???

There are quite a few threads about this but the main point is AACOMAS takes your best grades and AMCAS takes a average of them. I did this last year so my memory is cloudy 🙂
