SCCO or Western?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Yes, I mean interview dates.

SCCO had their first (I think it was the first) interview day on Saturday the 17th, and they got back to us about our status today.
In my experience SCCO was quick to schedule interview times after all the application materials are in. If you are concerned Betty at SCCO is really nice, and can help you with checking your application's status. Good luck! I think waiting is the hardest part...

Please comment questions about the admissions process, lifestyle, or anything else that may be optometry related!

For those who have had an interview at Western University... May I ask if you can list some questions that you've being asked before?.. Thanks!

i got my western interview as soon as they processed my papers, which took forever!

does anyone know how berkeleys interview invitations work?

did they give them out as a rolling basis or do they wait until after their app is due in december?

have a western interview on Dec. 4.

Berekely will get back to applicants in early Janurary (I think they said Jan 11 at the latest) and they will have one large interview day in early February. No rolling admissions for Berkeley.

does anyone know how much is out of state tuition for Western University?

It is a private university, so it is the same as in state. 27.7k

1. Are you Californian rejected by SCCO and Berkeley?

2. Are you an out-of-stater rejected by all but UIW & MidWestern?

A yes to either & you meet their average class profile.

hmm thanks zyg0te!

to Optsuker ..No i haven't been rejected by anywhere and I didn't apply to SCCO OR BERKLEY OR UIW.

i got an interview from western in nov.
as someone mentioned above as soon as they process your papers they called me and that did take forever, they were very fickle.
