Could anyone please tell me more about the Dr. Herbert McCracken Dixon Memorial Endowed Scholarships at SCCO? I've read its description on the SCCO website, but it didnt say how much the award was and was hoping someone on SDN could help me out. Thanks =)

that scholarship is a 4k scholarship to the person in each class with the highest gpa (or more if there are multiple 4.0's) and a 3k to the second highest and a 2k to the first highest. it comes with an obligation that you will try to give money back to that fund when you are practicing.. so basically if you get it it is somewhat like an interest free loan. they cannot really force you to pay it back but it is highly suggested that once you are a doctor you give back to help students in the future
