Hi guys! This is my first time posting but I have been reading the posts on this for a while now. They have all been very helpful, so thanks 🙂 I have seen a lot of people mention using Schaum's as a supplement to the Kaplan Biology section. Is this really the best supplement? Is Shaum's a book? Or an online study tool? Also, if it's a book, what is the exact name of it? Thanks in advance 🙂

It's a great supplemental book, and it is CHEAP. I bought mine online for $10.

awesome. But, what is the title of it? Is it actually a book designed for DAT studying? Or is it a regular biology textbook?

It's a company that makes a series of study guides, it's not made specifically for the dat. They're these red skinny books and they have almost every subject you need help in. They also have small blue skinny ones that are "quick study guides" but if you end up using them the red ones are more valuable. You can get them at any bookstore.

hey .. i just gotmine over the weekend and its amazing! not only is it all the stuff we should know but it explains everything with top notch clarity 🙂
The book's title is Schaum's Outlines: Biology and the authors are George H. Fried, and George J Hademenos.
i got mine from barne's and noble but they have them at borders too.

great book, but a lot of times it has to much info. that's easy to forget. Focus more on the kaplan blue book i would say and skim through schaums

i agree 👍 there's a lot of information in Schaum's and most of it isn't tested.

Great book and cheap. Highly recommended!
