Lets say you do a rotating internship and then apply to allopathic residency programs. I heard, at least at UMDNJ-SOM, that since your vacations are pre-scheduled, you can only go on interviews using your 5 personal days. Only going on 5 interviews seems severely limiting! Are all prgrams like this? Are there usually ways around this issue? Should I use it as a selection criteria for rotating internship?
