Scholarships/awards from college?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I am also wondering this. I have read elsewhere on this forum that they should be included if they are significant. My question is what is considered significant?

Which of these college honors should or should not be included, for example:
- Award where I was the only one in my college to receive, and many had applied?
- Award where there were 10 given at state or national level?
- Merit scholarships that came with a significant amount of money
- Any of these: College Honors, Departmental Honors, PBK, Cum Laude?

If I do include any of these, should they be listed under "Other Awards/Accomplishments"

If the awards were science or "humanitarian" related I'd list them. Not that they're

If the Merit scholarships were something you specifically applied for (rather than received as part of an aid package...I got a ton of "merit" scholarships that were just rolled into my aid package that I did nothing other than be poor and have a good high school GPA to get), then list them.

Dean's List type stuff, PBK and Laude stuff should all be listed.

And yes, this should all go under Awards/Accomplishments.

Oh wow you can list college honors?
I was told by my advisor not to do that cuz it will look like you are packing your app

I am not listing all I received, but the biggish ones. Anyone disagree?

Do people typically list the years next to these? For example should I list "Phi Beta Kappa (2000)" or just "Phi Beta Kappa"?
