I have an acceptance to BCOM - FL and ACOM and am really torn on which school I should accept. I have until end of October for BCOM and the standard AACOMAS schedule for ACOM (12/16).

My main concern for ACOM is the terrible remediation policy in place and the lack of support from faculty as reported by current students. There have been a very large amount of students kicked out from the Class of 2029, as confirmed by admissions at ACOM. Additionally, they have been giving contradicting information to me when I reach out to them about questions, which has made me super hesitant to consider them. I'm also a non-trad student who has been out of school for 3 years, so the remediation policy is really making me nervous.

BCOM-FL is obviously the newer campus, but their NM campus is established and has not had many issues in the past 2 years. They are also a P/F school and their virtual/asynchronous classes do not bother me. Additionally, I have family in the Melbourne area, which makes me less nervous to make the move. The vibe of the school I got from the students and faculty on the interview day was also much more positive than ACOM.

Please help me! I'm clueless about this process and have no one to ask. I'm so so grateful to have 2 acceptances so early, but I don't want to make the wrong decision 🙂

The Florida school is going to have nothing in common with the New Mexico School of become. Therefore you can't trust that the new school will be just like the old school.

Go with ACOM
Huh, good to know! It seems like from students and faculty they are trying to push it as it is the same. Do you have any concerns with the remediation policy/loss of students at ACOM? Or is that not really something to be worried about?

As this hasn't been an ongoing thing, unlike say a school like Nova, if you were my kid I would still send you to ACOM.
