I'm of the mind that living somewhere that you're happy is a large contributor to academic success. I have a few schools on my list that I'm just wondering what there would be to do besides school, and I'm wondering if anyone who is currently/has been in the area would like to share their experience?
I love snowboarding in the winter (have been since I was 5), I like to do poker tournaments (I'm aware you can find a casino pretty much anywhere in a big city), camping/hiking/mountain biking I do often in the summer, also skateboard and longboard. I'll play pickup basketball at a recreation center if there is one.
The schools I'm wondering about:
-Jefferson
-Drexel
-Creighton
-NYMC
-Albany
-Medical College of Wisconsin
Anyone care to share their experiences at any of these schools? I'd love to know what people at these schools/areas do in their free time.
