Hi everyone, wondering if anyone can help me out with some advice. I am currently completing my prerequisites for dental school at a community college that instructs by the quarter system. I still need to complete Bio 6b and 6c, Physics 2b and 2c, chem 1c, and all 3 o-chem courses. For winter quarter, I plan on taking physics 2B and chem 1C, and possibly Bio 6B if I get in. This would leave me with O-Chem 12A in the spring quarter (if they offer it, which according to the schedule of classes, means no), and physics 2C, and Bio 6C in the spring. I would like to apply to dental schools this coming year, but honestly don't know if I will be prepared enough to take the DAT this summer due to not having two o-chem courses under my belt, and possibly not even one. I will look at summer school courses as soon as they are avaiable, but it does not look good. If I apply in late spring, will the schools not even look at my application until I take the DAT, and if that is the case, when is the latest I can take the DATs and still apply/get accepted for the entering classs of 2006?
Thanks-
