School Designations

I'm applying Jul 2011 and I know that one of the sections on OptomCAS is School Designations. Since I can't make an account until July, can someone please explain to me what this means?

the school designation section is just where you choose which schools you are applying for through OptomCas..nothing major, you just choose which schools you want optomcas to send your application to

thanks! do you have to write secondarys? how do they work? i know you have to write the one optomcas question 4500 characters, but what other essays do you have to write when you esubmit??
