Hi everyone, I just received my MCAT score today. A bit bummed since I expected a slightly higher score, but I cannot complain. I have already submitted my primary application last week, and now with my score back, I want to add more schools to that list. Please let me know what schools I should add or omit.

cGPA: 3.59 sGPA: 3.49 (upward trend)
2 gap years
509 128/125/130/126
IL US Citizen
ORM (south asian)

2000 hrs clinical (ED Tech + EMT)
320 hours volunteering (food pantry, afterschool mentoring, and animal shelter)
1200 hours research (1 publication, poster presentation)

I want to add 20-30 MD schools and DO schools need advice choosing. Thanks!

i do have about 20 hours in shadowing. i also have about 1500 non clinical paid hours too if that makes a difference. my 320 hours is 96 hours at the food pantry (i’m continuing this during my second gap year), 150 hours volunteering at local middle school tutoring, 74 hours at animal shelter for my own interest.
