WI Resident.. UW Madison, Biochemistry major.
3.88 GPA (Science GPA slightly lower than that.)
DAT: 21 AA, 22 TS, 21 PAT
~72 hours assisting at a free dental clinic.
~ 18 hours of dental volunteering
~ 25 hours of non-volunteering shadowing.
~ 115 general volunteer hours
~ I am a leader (of 5) for a spring break service trip. We plan and lead the trip for 7 of the 9 days.
Keep in mind that these hours were completed within the past two years, as I am finishing my degree in three years.
My list at this point (I am trying to keep the number of schools reasonably low):
Marquette
U of Michigan
U of Iowa
U of North Carolina - Chapel Hill
U of Washington
U of Louisville
U of Pennsylvania
Harvard
I have come to this list based on recommendations from my boss and fellow students, as well as some research on scholarship opportunities. Please provide any feedback on the list (are there schools I should consider adding or removing?). 🙂
