So I'm planning to apply early(how early is early??) because my low gpa. oGPA: 3.2, sGPA: 3.0, DAT: 21PAT, 22AA and I'm resident in NJ. Here's my list, please let me if there's any I should add or delete. Thanks!!
P.S. when I took the DAT in 2011 I selected schools to send score to, so do I have to do it again or it will send automatically??

Only apply to Meharry if you're URM!

Here's how i'll address this list:

Midwestern - Add both the IL and AZ campuses
Roseman University of Health Sciences
A.T.Still University School of Dentistry - Remove this unless you have over 500 hours of volunteering, they're very picky about that
Tufts
Boston - they have a patient pool problem and I hear that the program is a mess. I would remove it.
NYU
Western University College of Dental Medicine
Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Dentistry Bradenton
UoP
UMDNJ
Case Western Reserve University
Temple
University of Loisiville
Meharry Medical College - Remove if you're not a minority

I would consider Pittsburgh, Indiana, Michigan, Buffalo, Detroit Mercy. Also think about Columbia they love high DAT scores.

22AA might not be high enough for Columbia. They really prefer their 24+s.

Well the 2011 guide says the average AA was 22.59. So a 22 should be enough. The GPA is a tad low, but you never know.

The 22AA is high enough for Columbia.

The issue the OP has is that while the OP is right near the average for the DAT, the OP is well below the GPA average.

I don't give it a great chance, like if the OP had a 3.5+ to go with that DAT score, but I think there is enough of a chance that applying to Columbia could be worth the shot. Just my two cents.

thanks for the additional lists, it definitely helps

you could consider the texas schools if you are a texas resident. What about new schools like UNE SDM or the one in Missouri?
